Tables Extraordinaire is a celebrated Central Florida event that combines elegant table displays, delectable Greek cuisine, a vibrant marketplace, silent auction, and a glamorous gala. The proceeds raised from this event benefit several organizations—including Runway to Hope and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. Through the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and bidders, Tables Extraordinaire channels crucial funding to Runway to Hope’s efforts in pediatric oncology—such as their Family Assistance Program, hospital funding, and collaborative community initiatives—and to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides families with vital “home away from home” accommodations and support during medical treatment. In essence, this elegant and meaningful gathering plays a significant role in sustaining and advancing the compassionate missions of both local charities.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida (RMHCCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to “providing essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.” Since 1996, its cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House, has offered a vital “home away from home” for families with hospitalized children, reducing the strain of lodging and enabling parents to stay close to their little ones. The organization operates three Houses located next to major pediatric hospitals in Orlando, serving approximately 2,700 families each year. Additional services include Extension Services such as Family Gathering Rooms within hospitals and a Hospitality Cart program delivering snacks, games, and compassionate care directly to families on pediatric floors. Rooted in a strong partnership with McDonald’s, which contributes around 15% of its annual budget, RMHCCF relies on the generosity of individuals, companies, foundations, and volunteers to fulfill its mission. With a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator and a leadership team committed to strategic planning and sustainability, RMHCCF continues to be a trusted beacon of support for countless families facing pediatric medical challenges.

Runway to Hope
Runway to Hope is a dedicated nonprofit based in Central Florida, founded by Mark and Josie NeJame in 2010, with the mission: “No family should battle pediatric cancer alone.” They provide critical support to children and families confronting pediatric cancer, primarily through their Family Assistance Program, which has delivered over $1,065,000 in direct emergency financial aid to more than 650 families since 2014. The organization has also contributed $4.3 million to pediatric cancer units across three Central Florida children’s hospitals. Beyond financial support, Runway to Hope fosters strong collaborations among local hospitals, businesses, philanthropists, and the broader community to advance pediatric oncology care and awareness. Over the years, their signature Spring Fashion Soirée has grown significantly—from featuring 30 child models in 2010 to over 175 by 2019—becoming both a powerful fundraising and awareness event. With a transparent approach recognized by Candid’s Seal, Runway to Hope continues to uplift the pediatric cancer community in Central Florida through compassion, advocacy, innovation, and community engagement.
